The New England Art Therapy Association (NEATA) is a non-profit professional association that serves the art therapy community in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. It is for art therapists, students, and individuals who support the therapeutic use of art and the advancement of the art therapy field.

Conference Scholarship Opportunity for NEATA Members

NEATA is giving away one $500.00 scholarship to be used towards admission to the upcoming AATA 2012 conference. All members of NEATA are eligible to apply, with the exception of current NEATA board members. The application process includes writing an essay on why attending the upcoming conference is important to you. The winning essay will be posted in the next newsletter. Please send entries to contactneata@gmail.com. Applications are due by Monday April 23, 2012. Essays received after that date cannot be considered.

Types of Membership:
Professional Membership- $25/year: I am a member of AATA and working professionally in the field of art therapy.
Student Membership- $15/year: I am a student and can provide a student ID.

How to Join:
You must first join the American Art Therapy Association to become a NEATA member. You can join both at once by going to: https://www.americanarttherapyassociation.org
